Lindy arranges succession for president – Angel to replace Ritzel as chief supervisor in 2022 – Lindy stock increase | 10/25/21

The Linde gas group arranged a succession at the head of the company.

Effective March 1, 2022, Sanjeev Lamba will take over as current CEO Steve Angel, the company announced on Monday. There was already speculation about the change. Lamba has been responsible for the operational business at Linde since October 2020.

Angel will move to the supervisory board and replace Wolfgang Reitzle as lead supervisor. Angel has been president of the company since Linde’s merger with American competitor Praxair in 2018. Reitzle will retire after 20 years at Linde. At the same time, Linde nominated other directors to the supervisory board, including former Siemens president Joe Kaiser.

Linde also pays a dividend of $1.06 for the fourth quarter

Shareholders of industrial gases group Linde will receive a dividend of $1.06 per share in the fourth quarter — as much as they did in the first three. A similar decision has now been made by the board of directors, the company announced in Guilford, UK. Dividends will be paid on December 17 to all shareholders as of December 3.

Linde will release third-quarter results this Thursday.

In XETRA trading, Linde’s shares eventually rose 0.91 percent to €272.05.
