The current fighting game The King of Fighters XV will soon be enriched with an important feature, because the long-awaited cross-play will be launched soon.
As SNK officially confirmed today, The King of Fighters XV brawler finally gets the long-awaited cross-play feature. Accordingly, from June 20 next week, battles between players on different platforms will be possible. Players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X / S, Windows 10, Steam and Epic Games Store can compete with each other.
On the same day, more good news for game owners, because along with Goenitz, a free DLC character will also be introduced to the title on June 20th. This is the infamous final boss of the third KoF game, The King of Fighters ’96.
As the last of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi, he devoted his entire life to serving his dark commander. The cleric’s dignified attire and gentle demeanor make him appear gentle at first glance, but behind the mask hides a heartless beast who will not shy away from inflicting pain and torment on his opponents. Goenitz is spoken by Susumu Akagi in Japanese.
Goenitz will also be part of the Boss Challenge mode, where you can race against him in one hell of a gauntlet. Whoever comes out victorious will get a special outfit, background music and other rewards.
The beat ’em up The King of Fighters XV gets a free DLC character with Goenitz.
