Berenberg Wealth & Asset Management will consolidate its third-party sales area with Marcel Rinder on 1 October 2024. He comes from ODDO BHF SE and, as Head of the Collaboration Partners business, takes over the role of Lorenz Behnke, who is taking early retirement. The focus of Rinder's work is working with savings banks. He leads a team of four experts and reports to Florian Friske, Head of Third Party Sales.
Marcel Rinder previously worked at ODDO BHF SE as a Senior Multi-Product Asset Solutions Specialist in Private Wealth Management. In this role, he represented portfolio management for existing and prospective new clients and was charged with the strategic and operational direction and continued development of multi-asset solutions. His duties also included developing cooperation and strategic partnerships, particularly in the savings banking sector – an area that will now also be the focus of his work at Berenberg.
