Skating talent: Luis Happ from Axams is one of Austria’s top talents

With amazing successes at the end of the season, ski talent Luis Happ from SK Axams made people sit up and take notice and established himself among the best Austrians in his age group!

Luis Happ of SK Axams recently won two of the three “OSV Spring Cup competitions” in which Austria’s top ski talents were determined in 2011 and 2012. In St. Lambrecht / Styria, he showed his class by winning the giant slalom. A day later, Louis Happ was second in the slalom after the first run, but then he had bad luck and was knocked out in the second run.

Coronation finale

With success in the giant slalom, Hap qualified for the Grand Final of the Xiaomi Children’s Cup Series in Saalbach. There was the crowning glory of the skiing talent of Axams. Louis Happ also won Austria’s top talent comparison in giant slalom and took the crown.
In addition to this sporting event, a whole series of highlights await you: The day before, there was a professional training session for young skiers with eight experienced ÖSV coaches, before the program’s motor skills tests took place in the afternoon. At the same time, there was an interesting lecture for all those accompanying her, delivered by Dr. Christian Raschner plus valuable advice on waxing and preparing for skiing.

Meet the stars of ÖSV

The last big day brought smiles to the children’s faces, and not only because of the perfect downhill conditions at Zwölferkogel. The children were personally looked after in their teams by ÖSV stars Nina Ortlieb, Christina Ager, Stephanie Feneier, Matthias Meyer, Stefan Babinski and Daniel Dunkelmayr. After running together, including valuable advice during the road tour, ÖSV ÖSV also took over the supervision at the start, which made the children very happy.
