AGON PRO AG275QXL: Screen for League of Legends fans

agon ag275qxl teaserLeague of Legends is one of the most popular games in the world. Starting this month, the monitor matching the game will also be available in the form of AOC’s AGON PRO AG275QXL. AGON PRO AG275QXL contains elaborate gaming equipment, which is similar to many others. The 27-inch screen became the monitor of League of Legends thanks to its special appearance – in no way can the device be called inconspicuous.

There are many gold ornaments on the display frame and back. The base lights up almost entirely as an RGB element during operation. In order to provide a better immersion when playing League of Legends, lighting can be included in the gameplay – for example, the entire base lights up red in the event of an explosion. But this is not enough for the appearance of lol. There’s also a matching startup sound, a custom OSD visual, and a color-coordinated control cluster, as we’ve also seen on the AOC AGON PD27, for example.

AGON PRO AG275QXL is a standalone model and not a redesigned version of an already well-known monitor. The 27-inch screen is based on an IPS panel with a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The maximum brightness is said to be 400 cd/m², while the contrast ratio is set as 1,000:1. AOC sets the response time at 1ms (MPRT and GtG), while the maximum refresh rate is 170Hz. FreeSync Premium technology, operating in the frequency range from 48 to 170 Hz, ensures a clean display.

For its LoL display, the AOC relies on a wide panel that is said to cover 128% of the sRGB color space. 94% is specified for DCI-P3, while 94% should also be for AdobeRGB. HDR content can also be played back, but the AOC uses only DisplayHDR 400.

In order for all users to find a comfortable sitting position, the height of the panel can be adjusted by 130 mm, while the tilt can be adjusted in the range from -5 degrees to 23 degrees. The panel can also be rotated left or right by 170 degrees.

The AOC AGON PRO AG275QXL will be available in March and will cost €529.
