Amazon announced the new Echo Show 5 and 8

Amazon has now updated its Echo Show family and updated both the new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 5. Eco Show 8 It has an 8-inch HD screen with adaptive color adjustment and a 13-megapixel camera with an integrated camera cover that uses an octa-core CPU processor. Stereo speakers are responsible for the sound output. The camera is automatically panned and zoomed during video calls.

You can also create groups of up to seven Alexa contacts and start a conference call with a command like “Alexa, call my family.” Additionally, Amazon’s smart assistant is able to search for series or movies from streaming services like Prime Video or Netflix. This also applies to Amazon Music, Apple Music and Spotify services. Moreover, Alexa now shows recommendations for playlists or stations. With Amazon Photos, the home screen can be converted into a digital photo frame. Prime members also get unlimited photo storage on Amazon Photos. Compatible smart home devices such as lights or thermostats can be controlled via screen or sound. The built-in camera on the Echo Show 8 also works as a surveillance camera via the Alexa app or other Echo Show devices.
