IOn the anniversary, several highlights will be presented from March to October.
This year the Pannonia-Kitsi Forum invites you to a special anniversary. It is now 45 years since Kitsee-born Rudolf Buchmann founded the cultural association in 1978 together with Ladislaus Rausch and physician and composer Matthias Kugler. Last Sunday the first concert of this anniversary was celebrated with the song “Rondo Vienna” conducted by Barbara Helfgott. As is often the case, and especially on anniversaries, Buchmann once again succeeded in attracting great musicians to the Haberland Hall at Kitsee Castle. Among them, on March 26, the “Vienna Chamber Orchestra” with the Japanese cellist Sakura Toba conducted by the conductor Harald Krumbuch of the Vienna Philharmonic.
On April 30, the Vienna Philharmonic’s Academy of Philharms will also perform works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Francis Poulenc, Richard Strauss and Louis Spohr.
Tickets can be ordered for €25 per show or €200 for a subscription (ten concerts left until October) by contacting Stefanie Tomaschitz on 0699 11769465. More info at www.burgenland.info.
