Development studio Sledgehammer Games shared a blog post on Friday that contains information about Call of Duty: Vanguard’s new anti-cheat system. I also mentioned that scammers can be banned from all titles in the franchise.

The much-anticipated Warzone update is very close, but RICOCHET has been in the works since Vanguard launched. According to the anti-cheat team, the first ban has already been in place, even though Vanguard launched just a week ago.
“RICOCHET’s anti-fraud team continues to actively monitor Call of Duty: Vanguard and has been distributing bans since its launch,” the blog post reads. Additionally, #TeamRICOCHET has worked with Sledgehammer Games to fix and unlock the XP earnings vulnerabilities.
The RICOCHET team emphasizes that reporting players is critical to assisting the Anti-Cheating Department in confirming cheaters and collecting information about cheaters’ behavior. The blog post also adds that the team will change security policies, which will lead to tougher penalties for repeat offenders.
With the Pacific update in Warzone less than a month left, the RICOCHET team is making changes that “will result in frequent bans preventing cheaters and account vendors from accessing the game.”
“Severe or repeated violations of security guidelines – such as b. cheating in the game – can result in the permanent suspension of all accounts,” the letter stated. In addition, any attempt to disguise, obscure or obscure the identity of a person or the identity of the devices can result in a permanent ban. The permanent ban on security breaches can now be applied to the entire franchise, including Call of Duty: Vanguard and all past, current and future titles in the Call of Duty franchise. “
The Pacific Update is slated for a December 3 release, with players who purchased Vanguard having access to it 24 hours early before release.
