Billion order: Siemens builds 73 trains to the United States

Siemens Mobility has received orders from the American National Railroad Passengers Association to manufacture 73 trains. The order is worth $ 3.4 billion and trains are due to be delivered from 2024. The company said it was the largest contract awarded to Siemens in North America. This can be expanded by 140 additional trains and other maintenance contracts as needed.
