French Open: Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas with sovereign success in the round of 16

Carlos Alcaraz gave viewers of the night session in Paris a great taste of his extraordinary skill.

Only in the second set did the Spaniard fall behind 4:1. The reaction? Five straight wins.

After 2:10, Alcaraz used its first match point in the third round. The next opponent in the round of 16 is Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti, who defeated Cameron Norrie 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.

“I felt good and played at a good level. In the second set I had problems and made more mistakes, but I had to keep going. I knew I would have a chance to come back and I did.”

Tsitsipas is not giving Schwartzman any chance

In the Round of 16, Stefanos Tsitsipas will face the surprising Austrian Sebastian Offner, who beat Fabio Fognini 5:7, 6:3, 7:5, 1:6, 6:4.

It took 2 hours and 2 minutes to bring Diego Schwartzman to his knees.

The Greek had to drop serve only once throughout the match and left no doubt about victory.
