Rumors came out of nowhere from England on Tuesday According to Salzburg sporting director Christoph Freund, he will be very popular with Chelsea owner Todd Buhle..

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Salzburg veteran should be the favorite for the vacant Chelsea sporting director position.

Freund is now clearing up the rumors himself. As part of the Champions League meeting between his club Salzburg and Chelsea, he explained to “ServusTV”: “We have been in constant contact with Chelsea, recently due to a possible transfer from Cisco. We have always talked about football, but apart from that, there is not much to it.”
