Motorola Moto G 5G (2022): Leaked specifications and photos

Last November, one photo appeared Motorola smartphones codenamed “Austin” On. A central perforated screen and a triple camera system were shown at the back, led by a 50 MP camera. There are now a number of new renderings that not only emphasize the design, but also shed more light on it.

According to the post, the marketing name will be Motorola Moto G 5G (2022). The source also said that the Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) has the model code XT2213 and the screen measures 6.6 inches. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 750G chipset and runs Android 11. The latter case will be disappointing but it is not an isolated case. Android 12 has been around for months, and the first developer previews have been available since February Android 13.

The Moto G 5G (2022) has a volume rocker and a power button with a fingerprint sensor built into the right frame. At the bottom is a USB-C port, flanked by a speaker, microphone, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Moto G 5G (2022) is said to be 9.3mm thick (10.7mm with the camera module) and is expected to come with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage (expandable up to 512GB) and a 5,000mAh battery.

The 50MP main camera on the back is linked to 8MP and 2MP cameras, with the former possibly being ultra-wide and the latter a macro/depth module. The Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) is expected to launch in June in volcanic gray and frosted silver colors, and will cost INR 22,990 (€275).
