In terms of download size, the publisher has announced that Cities: Skylines 2 will be around 50GB upon release – Steam currently stands at 60GB. Its direct predecessor, Cities: Skylines, requires only 4 GB of free storage space for the release, which is also reflected in the significantly increased size of Cities: Skylines 2. Of course, a lot has happened technically since the first part was released in 2015.
