Food giant Nestlé has again recalled its Guetzlite flour in the US. Some batches of Nestlé’s Toll House brand of edible chocolate chip cookie dough tubs may contain soft plastic parts, Nestlé USA said Thursday.
The voluntary recall refers to three batches produced between August 1 and 3. Nestlé has been notified of the problem by a “small number” of consumers, and no illnesses or injuries are known. In mid-October, a food company in the US recalled the product “Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Fudge Filling” due to similar problems.
Nestlé works with the US health authority, the FDA, and will “fully cooperate” with it.
