Roma are on their way to the semi-finals of this year’s competition. After a 2-1 first-half goalless win at Olympico, second-half substitute Brian Broby scored a goal to lead the visitors from Amsterdam. But Eden Deco equalized 18 minutes before the end and ensured his side’s lead.
The English qualified to the semi-finals after a ceremonial performance. Nicholas Pepe, Arsenal’s top scorer in the first leg, put the guests ahead after 18 minutes. Then things went very fast: Alexandre Lacazette increased the penalty kick to 2-0 after three minutes, before Bocayo Saka cleared it all up three minutes later. Lacazette achieved the final result in the 77th minute.
Shortly before the break, the Spaniards pulled back and laid the groundwork for the semi-finals. 36 minutes later Paco Alcacer put the lead after an impressive show, and seven minutes later Gerrard Moreno scored to make it 2-0. In the 74th minute, Mislav Ursic continued to score for the visitors.
Also in the second leg, the British did not miss a thing, and after six minutes they were led by Edinson Cavani. In the following period, United dominated everything and made the perfect 90th minute victory with an own goal by Jes خs Vallejo.
