
Broadcasting starts in Upper Austria OWN3D media GmbH has received €1 million from its existing investors in a funding round.
At the same time, the company, which operates several lines of business, has to do this StreamTV Media Renamed. The streaming service provider was founded in 2018 by Thomas Rafelsberger, Lukas Hoffmann and Andreas Hanne, and according to its own information, it currently has about 1.5 million users.
Funding comes from business angels and the company’s co-founders, Frankkap and Gerhard Pail, as well as from KaPa Ventures. The company intends to use the funds to grow faster and, above all, to invest in product development and team expansion.
The goal is to help and significantly develop the international broadcasting scene, according to his Tuesday broadcast.
The company develops services for gamers and live broadcasters, from designs, animations, graphics and logos to its own streaming software and educational (academic) platform for streamers on Twitch, Facebook or TikTok and those who want to become one. All these services, divided into four business areas, will be integrated in the future under the StreamTV brand umbrella.
