Austrotherm GmbH and the traditional company Brucha GmbH, headquartered in Michelhausen, have contractually agreed that Austrotherm will acquire the business area of EPS insulation materials and all 20 employees. From now on, Brucha will focus on Brucha panels production, cold storage production and assembly department. These business areas remain 100 percent owned by the Brucha family company.
The acquisition is subject to antitrust approval, which is expected to occur within the next few weeks. Following the successful completion of the contract, current EPS production will be continued at Austrotherm's Michelhausen site. This aims to ensure a smooth transition of existing customer relationships and their demands with the usual quality and reliability.
Jobs can be kept in Michelhausen
“The EPS division at Brucha is the optimal expansion of our production and logistics network. With the third production site in Austria – centrally located between St. Pölten and Vienna – we can expand the quality of… Delivery and service to our customers.” In addition, both companies are family run, traditional Austrian companies that adhere to the highest standards of quality and handshake quality.
Brucha's management team is also convinced of this solution. “Since we want to focus on our key business areas in the future, we have found the ideal producer in Austrotherm to take over EPS production while continuing operation at the Michelhausen site,” agree Managing Directors Josef Broscha and Rainer Lichtenberger. They both stress that it is particularly important for them when selecting a buyer to retain existing jobs at Michelhausen: “With Austrotherm, we have also succeeded in doing this from a long-term perspective.”
