USA GP on TV: Watch out, time difference! / Formula 1

Before the sprint After the sprint: Two weeks after the hot and exciting action in Qatar, the action is taking place in the same format at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) near Austin (Texas).

The 2023 Formula 1 season will feature six races in the sprint format, two of which are directly back-to-back this weekend – we recently had hot and humid action at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar, and now we’re in the USA GP at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) outside Austin, Texas. Facing Weekend.

The process is similar to Qatar, but due to the time difference (seven hours) between Europe and Texas, Formula 1 fans must keep track of the time difference. The only free practice is on October 20th from 7:30pm to 8:30pm (Texas 12:30pm to 1:30am) during the European summer. We start qualifying for the Grand Prix in Europe which starts at 11pm.

Saturday (October 21) is all about sprints: sprint qualifying at 7:30pm European time, sprint starts at midnight. The American Grand Prix will resume on October 22 at 9:00 PM ET.

From Friday 20 October we’ll let you know everything you need to know with a live ticker (GP Qualifying on 20 October, Sprint Qualifying and Sprint on 21 October, Grand Prix on 22 October), but of course we’ve always got you, Sky, Below we have compiled the most important broadcast dates for ORF, ServusTV and SRF.
