Val d’Isère – Saturday, 11.12.2021, 13:05
Very bad luck for Adrian Bertel in the giant slalom at Val d’Isere.
The vice world slalom champion injured himself in a fall in the first round and is likely to miss the rest of the Olympic season.
Standing on a portal at the bottom, the Carinthian tries to save himself, but falls in the process. Bertel is on his way back to Innsbruck, where he will be closely scrutinized. In the ÖSV team, it is assumed that the zigzag ace will tear the bar. This would end the season prematurely for the 25-year-old.
