14.000 square meters – giant logistics docks in Herzogenburg

As detailed, CTPark St. Pölten Nord is its first tenant. Now more details are known.

General freight specialist Raben BEXity will open its new logistics center at its Herzogenburg site in the second quarter of 2024. A total of 14,000 square meters of space will be created for rack and block storage, docking, order pickup and dangerous goods. The logistics center is located in CTPark St. New Pölten Nord, a modern commercial and industrial area with an area of approximately 87,800 square meters and enjoys ideal transport connections. “The new location replaces our previous logistics center in Herzogenburg and offers customers more space and much greater logistics options,” says Erwin Gosch, Sales Director at Raben BEXity.

The new site not only takes advantage of the excellent location. It is located close to the A1 and S 33 roads between Vienna and Linz, Germany – and thus on the important east-west communication axis. The modern and large halls provide excellent storage options with sustainable technologies such as electricity generation from photovoltaics and electric vehicle charging stations. Customers will have access to approximately 4,000 square meters of distribution space, as well as 3,000 square meters of shelf storage space, 1,700 square meters of warehousing space, and 2,000 square meters of warehouse space for inbound/outbound merchandise, order picking and value-added services. 2,800 square meters of dangerous goods storage racks (in two divided halls) plus 500 square meters of warehouse area for incoming/outgoing dangerous goods.

The new logistics site combines several advantages: on the one hand, the modern facility is larger than the previous one and can accommodate all logistics activities, such as storing dangerous goods. In the cross dock, trucks can be loaded and loaded directly on both sides, and additional loading gates also speed up the handling process. In terms of storage, the new location offers much more options such as expanded capabilities in block storage, rack storage and dangerous goods areas. Last but not least, employees and drivers benefit from a modern working environment. “The new site has greater capacity and options as well as an optimal and sustainable infrastructure. In this way, we offer the optimal integration of transport and warehouse logistics in the Lower Austria region and enable customers to obtain optimal services related to general freight logistics,” explains Erwin Gosch.
