Cannabis group Aurora Cannabis opened its books and presented numbers for the last quarter and fiscal year 2021.
In the fourth quarter, ending June 30, 2021 for Aurora Cannabis, the Canadian company generated C$54.8 million in sales. This was less than analysts had expected. Experts forecast C$56.8 million in sales of Aurora Cannabis in advance, after the Canadian company made C$72.1 million in the same period last year.
Earnings per share were -0.677 Canadian dollars in the last quarter after -16,660 Canadian dollars in the same quarter of the previous year. Experts expected a loss of 0.268 Canadian dollars per share.
For the full fiscal year 2021, the loss was -3.509 Canadian dollars per share. The average forecast here is -3.634 Canadian dollars per share. In the previous fiscal year, Aurora Cannabis was down C$33,940 per share.
In terms of sales, the cannabis group generated C$245.3 million in the full fiscal year 2021 after C$278.9 million in fiscal year 2020. Analysts forecast sales of C$247.9 million.
Shares of Aurora Cannabis are in the US after-hours trading on the Nasdaq, sometimes 1.49 percent, to $6.47.
