ZTE advance next Monday Axon 40 series and there will be at least three models – Axon 40, 40 Pro and 40 Ultra. On the plane is The third generation of ZTE front camera technology under the screen. Ultra will also Three main 64MP cameras Bring on the back. A new teaser goes even further – one of the main cameras is said to have a resolution of 100 megapixels. The company also confirmed that the series will contain a special security chip designed to take device protection to another level.
The 100MP claim will likely mean that ZTE will implement a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor in the Axon 40 Pro. The Korean manufacturer is currently the only one that produces motion picture sensors with such high resolution. HM2 is the latest iteration.
The sensor size is 1 / 1.33 inch and it supports PDAF, Laser AF and OIS – all these technologies should be found in the Axon 40 Pro accordingly. The trigger image shows six layers in front of the actual sensors, which means it’s a true 6P lens with f/1.8 aperture.
The security chip is also a first for ZTE. Although there are no details about the functions yet, it can be assumed that they protect sensitive data such as fingerprints, passwords and credit card information. As a result, they are not stored in normal memory, where they can be more vulnerable to attacks.
All details will be announced within a week. Until then, ZTE should offer more features.
