The first “Street Fighter” was released in 1987 – and 35 years later the sixth installment of the cult beat ’em up series will be released and, according to Capcom, heralds “the future of fighting games.” However, so far, it’s only been a short CGI video with Ryu wobbling – for the first time, Capcom has shown real gameplay and a mode causing a stir as part of Sony’s “State of Play” online event.

In the so-called World Tour, which also stands for Story mode, boys who whip Xbox, PlayStation and PC games are allowed to run in an open game world with their character and challenge their opponents to fight. Another new type of game called “Battle Hub” is focused on online matches. In addition, arcade matches, training and “local battles” await.
