Andreas Weiss joins Ebiquity on Leaders

Marketing and media consulting agency Ebiquity is strengthening itself from July with Andreas Weiss as a new member of the Board of Directors for the DACH Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). As the DACH Client Business Manager, the experienced Agency Manager will be responsible for client business, both in terms of acquisition and support. Furthermore, in this position, he is to promote the development of consulting capabilities in Austria and Switzerland and to establish Ebiquity more aggressively as a marketing and promotions consultant.

In this newly created position, Weiss will lead a team of approximately 30 media experts in Hamburg – along with Christian Zimmer and Stefan Uhl – and will focus on developing the client-oriented services of Ebiquity’s media consultancy as well as structuring and further aligning them professionally from For the future.

With Andreas Weiss, Ebiquity has grown to be a media expert with over 20 years of experience in classic and digital communications. During this time, he was able to successfully demonstrate his management skills in the creation and restructuring of well-known agencies in markets such as Austria, Switzerland, the Adriatic and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Andreas Weiss started his career as an Executive Assistant at the Vienna Insurance Group. Five years later, he joined the agency sector, making the topics of ‘client advice’, ‘digitization’ and ‘business transformation’ his main interests right from the start.

Having held positions in various GroupM media agencies, Weiss headed the Dentsu subsidiaries Carat Austria & Adriatics for several years before being responsible for the successful development of Dentsu in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa from 2008 to 2010. Returning to Austria, Andreas Weiss took over management Dentsu Austria worked as CEO until his departure.
