LEG Immobilien SE issued 600 million euros in sustainable corporate bonds.
The capital aims to finance social and green investments and projects. MDAX-listed LEG Immobilien cites social housing, corporate enterprise capitalization, and energy-efficient apartments as examples.
The bond has a term of 10 years and carries coupon interest of 0.750 percent per annum. The offering was in high demand and the oversubscription was 2.7 times higher. According to the announcement, the bonds were mainly subscribed to by investors from France, Germany, the Benelux countries, the United Kingdom and Scandinavia.
The offering was accompanied by Deutsche Bank as global coordinator and advisor to the ESG structure, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and HSBC Continental Europe as active bookrunners. Société Générale and Unicredit acted as passive bookrunners.
