Apple Fitness+ has been launched in 15 new countries: Austria, Brazil, Colombia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. Fitness+ courses are actually in English. However, Apple will offer subtitles in six languages, even if it’s not entirely clear which languages it will be.
Pilates is the latest fitness exercise and comes with two new trainers: Marimba Gold-Watts and Darryl Whiting. The workouts last 10, 20 or 30 minutes and are aimed at athletes with different levels of experience. In view of the season, Apple is already considering winter sports enthusiasts with new exercises. “Get ready for the snow season” directed by Ted Ligetti, two-time Olympic champion and five-time world champion, figure skater and fitness coach + Anja Garcia.
Group training sessions with SharePlay allow up to 32 people to participate in a training session at the same time. Group training includes activity loops and a burn tape that collects information from Apple Watch So those present could see each other’s progress.
Apple Fitness + costs $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year in the US. It’s included in the Apple One Premier plan, and three months are free when you purchase Apple Watch Series 3 or later. Plus, every Apple Watch owner gets a free month of Fitness+.
