International matches, Bundesliga, Cup, Champions League – November 2023 was tough and pushed our boys to their physical limits. Now it’s up to you to choose one of them as the best player of the month. These are the four candidates:
Alexander Schlager
Against Real Sociedad, Alex was clearly the man of the match as he made several great saves and saved us from a point. In the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, he prevented a two-goal deficit against Hartberg with a powerful save and against Austria Vienna he earned an equalizer for us with a saved penalty, as well as a saved penalty in the UNIQA ÖFB Cup – nothing more is possible!
Strahinia Pavlovich
While our defensive line suffered many letdowns, Strahinia took on a more important role as the leader of our defense and consistently showed strong performances week after week. Conceding just one goal in two Champions League matches with very strong opponents like Inter Milan and Real Sociedad speaks for itself!
Oscar Galloch
In the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, the young Israeli scored a brilliant goal and an assist against Hartberg, and Oscar also underscored his role as the creative mind of our Champions League squad. Watching the 19-year-old kick ass is just a treat!
Petar Ratkov
This summer our young Serbian player had a lot of potential, which has since been slowed down by injury. In November, Petar was finally able to show his abilities, and at the beginning of the month he scored the all-important 1-1 equalizer in the cup duel with Hartberg. Also in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, it was the 20-year-old striker who scored again against Styria to make it 1-1. The reward was the first 11 Champions League appearance of his career in the match against Real Sociedad.
