DECK TEN – A NEW WAY TO LIVE » Ledercent

In the midst of one of the most diverse areas of Vienna, the BUWOG DECK ZEHN project is a place that makes room for a new way of living.

In the apartment building planned by BKK-3 Architects on Laxenburger Strasse, well-thought-out architecture meets a sophisticated concept that attempts to meet all the demands of modern life.

In the immediate vicinity of Vienna’s main train station, BUWOG is developing a unique project that focuses on modern and comfortable living. Live, work and leisure find balance here. From a small one-room apartment to a large maisonette, there are different types of apartments for a variety of needs. A feature of the building are the wide, curved bands of balconies, which give the house its unmistakable character and at the same time provide each apartment with a usable private outdoor area.

High-quality furnishings for 229 residential units in total together with spacious common areas, optimal connectivity to the transport network (the most important local and remote transport destinations are only a few minutes’ walk away) and many local recreation areas in the immediate vicinity provide sufficient arguments for choosing DECK ZEHN zum Place To be made when it comes to modern living. “We are very proud of being able to implement a great project with DECK ZEHN in one of the most developed areas of Vienna. We are thus optimally serving the growing demand – on the one hand for apartments in an urban location but also for contemporary living space,” says Andreas Holler, Managing Director. In charge of development at BUWOG.

Modern common areas are redefining life and living

DECK ZEHN offers its future residents a well-thought-out and innovative living concept. In addition to the private living space, the project offers plenty of space for the community and the possibility to ‘extend’ one’s apartment using the different common areas. Accessible to everyone, a co-working space allows for comfortable working from home, but is still separate from the private living space – thus re-defining the home office. On the roof, residents can expect a spacious common room with a charming green roof garden that can be used in a variety of ways.

Social life is supported here and a foundation for a home community is created. In addition, a sun deck provides space for meditation and harmony, movement areas on the rooftop provide space for a truly aerobic workout, and an indoor sauna rounds out the varied offer. The planned completion of the project with 229 privately funded housing units is the end of 2023.
