Dragon Age: The Veilguard: BioWare offers comprehensive PC features

Dragon Age: The Veilguard has been extensively optimized for PC. The makers have now announced the PC-specific features you can expect.

As is known, the new Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released not only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but also for PC. Of course, the RPG epic should also be convincing on home computing, so BioWare is putting a lot of work into optimizing it for this platform.

In this regard, they have now commented in more detail in line with Gamescom and confirmed that the team has already completed over 200,000 hours of performance and compatibility testing on PC. Nothing should be left to chance.

Accordingly, there are all sorts of PC-specific features that aren’t available in this form on consoles. Any examples? The 21:9 ultrawide screen resolution is fully supported, and the frame rate can be set to the maximum. VSync is supported, as is HDR and optional upscaling via features like DLSS 3, FSR 2.2, or XeSS. Other supported options include NVIDIA Reflex, DLSS 3 Frame Generation, optional dynamic resolution scaling, or cinematic aspect ratio.

Graphics settings can be adjusted at many levels from low to high, which relate to texture quality, filtering, light and shadow settings, reflections or ray tracing. Camera effects such as motion blur, field of view and more can also be designed according to your desires.
