At the start of the 12th round of the German Bundesliga, FC Augsburg scored an exciting 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich. Pedersen (twenty-third) and Hahn meet for the sake of the brave Augsburger. Lewandowski’s goal (36) is too small for Bayern.
Augsburg made life difficult for Bayern from the start. The Munich team hardly finds any big chances, because Marcus Weinzerl’s team defends in a focused way. Bayern is still at the top of the league. However, the Dortmund chasers could advance to one point with a win over Stuttgart (3:30pm) on Saturday. For Augsburg, points in a relegation battle equal gold. FCA leaves the relegation spot and is now 15th after its third win of the season.
