BenQ offers a short-throw projector for gaming, broadcasting or other types of entertainment: the 4LED TH690ST gaming projector. It has two HDMI interfaces and is therefore compatible with popular game consoles such as Sony PS5 / PS4, Nintendo Switch or Xbox Series. The TH690ST displays a 100-inch image from a distance of 1.5 meters from the projection surface. For automatic alignment of images from different spatial positions, the projector has 2D keystone correction, which is also supposed to eliminate trapezoidal effects.

The new BenQ delivers 1080P-HDR image quality, a brightness of 2,300 ANSI lumens and is 4K capable. The input lag is 8ms at 120Hz. The different game modes have already been set for light and dark environments. The sound comes from two built-in Trevolo stereo speakers, each with a power of 5 watts. Users can also choose from different audio modes: Standard, Cinema, Music, Game, Sports, and Custom.
In eco mode, the life of the light source should be 30,000 hours. According to BenQ, this corresponds to a service life of about 21 years with a daily use of about 4 hours without the need to change the light source.
