Gold, silver and bronze for brandy from the Prinz family

Bad Grospertholz. Michaela and Franz Prinz won three medals with their spirits in the “Das Golden Stamperl” prize at the Ab Hof in Wieselburg.

The Prins received gold for their apple pie drink, silver for mint spirit and bronze for orange spirit.

“We have been participating in this competition regularly since 2003. So we have been around for 20 years to have the quality of our alcoholic beverages checked by a specialist jury. The level of quality in general has risen steadily in this competition. A medal is not normal, but a It means ensuring quality for the customer and stimulating the distiller for continuous improvement.”

The improved recipe was rewarded with a gold medal

“Last year we also shared an apple pie liqueur, but we didn’t get a medal. That pissed me off. So this year I improved the recipe again and it worked. This year we got gold with 93 out of 100 points. With the description ‘Clean, Distinctive’ , rich in subtlety and harmony” The jury found a very positive criticism of the apple pie drink, says Franz Prinz.
