The world-famous Harry Potter series has been around for more than 20 years. Author J.K. Rowling made it clear in an interview that she wouldn’t be wearing the series’ 25th anniversary outfit.
“Harry Potter” author Joanne K. Rowling is a huge fan of her magical disguises. When asked if she would celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter series in a Gryffindor gown, she laughed on BBC Radio on Saturday: “I probably won’t get dressed. It takes me back to the early Potter days when the photographer wanted me to wear a witch’s hat. It prompted me to. to madness.”
She, Rowling, is really bad at photography, especially when someone gives her a prop or hat. “I just look embarrassed and awful,” she said.
The first book in Rowling’s hit series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, went on sale in the UK in June 1997 in its first edition. This means that the series will be 25 years old next summer. To date, more than 500 million copies of novels in more than 80 languages have been sold worldwide.
