Insider Build Windows 11: Announcement in Windows Explorer is Coming

Microsoft 2

Microsoft does not seem to want to say goodbye to advertising in Windows and once again attract the envy of its users. With the new Insider build for Windows 11, there are also ads in addition to tabs in Windows Explorer. In version 22572, a banner is displayed informing users of Microsoft Editor’s extended writing suggestions.

It was actually assumed that Microsoft had learned from past reactions. However, this does not appear to be the case and attempts are still being made to distribute ads in the system. Windows 10 users have been advised to upgrade to Windows 11 for some time now.

Even if Microsoft currently only advertises its own products, this in no way means that third-party providers will not be able to purchase advertising space in Microsoft’s operating systems in the future. Especially since ads can be placed in a prominent place directly in Windows. Whether it’s the Start menu, desktop view, or Explorer: Microsoft can certainly put in a lot of effort here.

However, it remains interesting how users will react. Especially in a corporate environment, a change in the operating system is not even achieved. In addition to Apple, private users can also switch to Ubuntu or another Linux distribution – as long as the software used is compatible with it.

However, the new Insider Build 22572 build also brings some great features. In addition to the tabs in Explorer already mentioned, there are two native apps under Windows 11. Both Family and Clipchamp will be available as inbox apps in the future. Family is used to manage various Microsoft accounts and their usage rights. Clipchamp is the successor to the popular Windows Movie Maker. There is a complete overview of all the features of the new version here.
