After Apple didn't introduce any iPad last year, new models were rumored to be coming in late March or early April. Manufacturers are now starting to ship equipment.
Apple is expected to soon introduce a new generation iPad Pro and a new generation iPad Air. While the Pro model is rumored to be larger and thinner, the Air will come in a second size with a 12.9-inch display and an M2 processor.
We don't know exactly when Apple will announce these products, because there will likely be no keynote and the announcement will instead be made via a press release. Many insiders are talking about the end of March, the beginning of April, or next Tuesday, March 26. On the other hand, we heard that the Pro won't ship to sales countries until April, which speaks against its launch next week. Another leaker claimed that manufacturers have now started sending the new iPad Air to sellers from China.
It won't be long before the new iPads arrive, but there's still no real clarity on exactly when in the rumor mill. We'll let you know when Apple introduces the new devices.
