Joelinton’s previous record for Brazil

What a debut for ex-Rapidler Joelinton in the Brazilian national team! The 26-year-old made his debut in Saturday’s friendly against Guinea and scored a goal. The match ends with 4: 1 for Brazil.

The Newcastle goalkeeper runs right away after a free kick in the 28th minute and pushes the ball over the goal line. Brazil played in black in the first half of the friendly match to send an anti-racism message. In the second section, then, as usual, in canary yellow.

“In its 109 years of history, the Brazilian national team has never played in a black jersey,” said a statement from the CBF.
