In addition to the foldable smartphones Fold 6 and Flip 6, Samsung showcased new watches at the Louvre Museum in Paris. The smart finger ring for fitness monitoring is completely new. Samsung is introducing a new version of the Galaxy Buds in-ear headphones. The new devices will be available from July 24. It is not surprising that the South Korean manufacturer attaches great importance to artificial intelligence in the new devices. Galaxy AI plays a central role in both smartphones and wearables. The new introductions in detail:
- Galaxy Z Fold 6: The larger of the two foldable phones is slightly lighter and thinner than the previous model. The current device weighs 239 grams (instead of 253 for the Fold 5) and is just 12.1 mm thick when closed. AI-powered functions are aimed at helping you make the most of the large screen (7.6 inches when unfolded with a brightness of up to 2,600 nits). The Notes Assistant helps with translations, summaries and automatic formatting. The stylus also gets new AI functions (“Smart Select”), with which users’ drawings can be converted into images.
