Marinomed is shortlisted for the European SME Awards

22.09.2021

Marinomed is one of twelve companies shortlisted for the European SME Awards for 2021. The awards, initiated by European Exporters, FESE and the European Commission, will be presented on October 16 in Slovenia. Marinomed was nominated in the “Innovation Star” category. This category celebrates mediums that are still recently listed and puts innovation at the heart of their business development. The other two competitors in this category are CY4GATE, listed in Italy, and Nanoform (Finland), listed on Nasdaq. Awards are presented in four categories.

In a Q&A, Marinomed said in response to a question about the greater benefits of the IPO: “Today the company has much greater visibility for both clients and investors. The stock option program allows employees to share in the success and the individual can now access the public equity and debt markets.”

Marinomed also has advice ready for those companies that are also looking to go public: “At the beginning of an IPO project, the challenges seem endless. First, develop your own stock story. Why go public and why should investors buy their shares? Plans for the process And get good advisors. It will be a once in a lifetime experience.”
