If you were looking to connect a friend or family member to a Nintendo Switch, what game would you choose for them? For some it may be The Legend of Zelda: A Breath of the Wild or Animal Crossing: New HorizonsFor the current head of Nintendo of America, Doug Bowser is the first choice Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
In his latest Twitter post, Doug showed his parents a picture of him playing the “Deluxe” version of Mario Kart 8 in mobile mode, with his mother or father appearing to be second instead to Koopa Troopa what appears to be Mo Mo Meadows. As you can see, Doug was wearing the cool SNES shirt himself.
As of March 31, 2021Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sold 35.29 million copies worldwide and it remains the best-selling Switch game to this day. You can see why – with pictures like the one above proving that everyone (of all ages) can enjoy this game.
In addition to visiting his parents this month, Doug took the opportunity to visit the Nintendo store in New York a few weeks ago to greet his statue and personally thank the staff for everything he did over the past year. What a great coach is the cart!
