Novomatic turned profit for the period into positive territory in the first half of 2022

No dividend will be distributed for fiscal years 2020 and 2021. As in previous years, the profit will be used to reduce debt and investments. The equity ratio is currently 32.8 percent.

Games group Novomatic made solid gains in the first half of 2002, although the same period last year was still affected by the coronavirus pandemic. In gaming operations, sales increased from 291.9 million euros to 813.3 million euros, and game technology sales (development, production and sale of technology products) increased to 504.8 million euros, after 336.5 million euros in the first half of 2021. Overall, sales increased to 1.32 billion euro.

In particular, Germany, Great Britain, Eastern Europe and Spain are well developed. This is also reflected in the number of employees, which in the group increased from 21,028 to 21,721. The result for the period also rose sharply, rising from 59.2 million euros to 122.9 million euros.

The operating result for the first half of the year was €162.1 million (plus 200%). By the way, no dividend will be distributed for the fiscal year 2021 or 2020. As in previous years, the profit will be used to reduce debts and investments. “In the first six months of 2022 alone, investments amounted to more than 100 million euros. This does not include the planned investments in green energy,” the Games group says. The equity ratio is currently 32.8 percent.
