Google’s latest camera app appears to show off innovations planned for the Pixel 8 series, including improved night vision for the camera, which may be planned exclusively for the Pixel 8 Pro. It is based on a feature found in the Pixel 7 Pro.
Frames from multiple cameras are combined
Google has improved Super Res Zoom for the Pixel 7 Pro by merging frames from the telephoto and main cameras. This increased the level of detail in the center of the image. The camera app already reveals that this kit will also be available for night vision in the future.
