Stream Controller was developed in collaboration with Lupidic Developer – A company that already offers a number of similarly designed products. It is said to be useful for streaming as well as photo and video editing. According to Razer, the user interface is particularly straightforward and focuses on multitasking and customization. In the center of the stream controller are twelve LCD touch buttons with haptic feedback. On each side of them, the LCD displays the information. Three analog knobs can be used on the left and right edges, allowing for ultra-fast volume tuning. Below are eight additional programmable buttons.
The new software should unite all the required tools on one platform and thus improve the workflow. Another new marketplace will provide plugins, profiles and icon packs. According to Razer, it requires at least macOS X 10.14 or Windows 10.
The flow controller measures 151 x 101.5 x 30.2 mm and weighs 210 grams. Connects to the computer with a 2-meter USB-A to USB-C cable.
It will be some time before sales start. According to Razer, the Stream Controller will be available in the fall for €269.99.
