Regional League Two East – Langenlebarn brings in former Lasse coach

Christian Bressel returns to training.

WIce smoke is rising at SV Donau: the new strongman on the line at Langenlebarn is called Christian Brehsel!

After a long period of speculation about various candidates, the new coach may be a surprise candidate to the general public. However, not for those responsible at SV Donau Langenlebarn. “Christian Bressel has been discussed with us once. We already know that the new coach is an opponent for us and we have learned to appreciate him as a very capable coach in these matches. “We believe that Christian Bressel’s profile suits us well,” says sporting director Günter Flieberger, who is visibly pleased. There were a few names on Langenlebarn’s list, and together with Prehsel they now hope to find the perfect candidate. “We have now been able to clarify the formalities. Christian is with us from now on.”

Required candidate on board

Pressel already had some well-known clubs on his resume. He looked after the FAC and Marchfeld-Donauauen, among others. With the Marchfelders team, he became champion in the First Regional League, and after a year fourth in the Eastern Regional League. In the 2018/19 season Prehsel was runner-up with SC Prottes. Most recently he was under contract to Lassee ahead of Martin Grabenbauer. “Christian is definitely one of our favorites. An illness prevented him from participating. He has joined us now, and we are very happy,” says Flieberger to new coach Rosen.

At the moment, not much is happening in the gaming sector in Langenlebarn. But Pressel’s commitment could also make a difference at this level in the near future. Brehsel has a UEFA licence, and could therefore be a beacon of hope for Tollnerfelder. Lally gave himself an early Christmas present, so to speak.
