Samsung Galaxy S23 uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 as the display glass

Samsung Galaxy S23, including the Plus and Ultra models, will be introduced soon. Appropriately, recent rumors are still circulating in the rumor mill, including about the screen that is supposed to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Every conceivable Android smartphone uses a display glass from Corning. Samsung is also a long-term partner of the American company. In the upcoming Samsung S23 series smartphones, a glass from Corning will also be installed on the front, which is Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The manufacturer of the protective glasses recently announced it in a press release.

Thus, the S23 devices are the first smartphones to feature the Victus 2. The product was only introduced last November and promises greater drop resistance on rough surfaces and high scratch resistance. Even with falls from a height of up to 1 metre.
