Some have only received the June update, and the next security update for Samsung Androids is already rolling out.
Starting in the first regions, the latest monthly update to hit Samsung’s popular Galaxy devices. This includes the Galaxy S22 series, which is already being delivered in Europe with the July 2023 update, which is probably just over 300MB in size. Samsung is faster to roll out compared to issuing changelog.
Interestingly, an update has already been found for the Galaxy S23, although the June 2023 update came quite late in the last few days of June. We’re even expecting the first One UI 6 beta for July.
We expect a large number of fixes for security issues/holes and of course small fixes for some hardware related software of smartphones and tablets. Unfortunately, Samsung isn’t always as open with communication as we’d like. We’ll have to wait until there is something on the South Korean forum again.
