Quick Snack – Basil Basil Cream Sandwich
Perfect for breakfast or as a snack throughout the day: sandwiches with basil and pea cream.
Peel the shallots and garlic and cut into small cubes. Fry in a little oil and fry until translucent. Add the thawed peas and saute briefly (the pulp should remain cool).
Then mix with broth, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and finely chopped basil stalks to a smooth cream (if you like it a little chunky, just mash it briefly). Then spread the cream on the bread, optionally sprinkle with more basil leaves and enjoy. I listen!
