Police in neighboring Liechtenstein are dealing with a series of robberies. Five burglaries of apartment buildings were reported in Belzers and Triesen from Thursday to Sunday. The safe was even ripped off the wall.

On Thursday, strangers smashed a window in the Balzers to gain access to a semi-detached house. Then all the rooms were searched and various valuables were stolen. On the same day, unknown perpetrators forced their way into an unoccupied single family home in Triesen by climbing onto a balcony and using physical force to open a window. All rooms were searched. There was financial and property damages of an amount not yet known.

On Friday, a homeowner from Triesen reported a burglary. He called the police because he did not dare to enter the house. But the thieves have already disappeared. Here, too, all buildings were searched. According to the police, it is not yet possible to determine the extent of the financial damage.

Petty cash, cash, and chain theft

On Saturday, a robbery in Triesen was again reported to the State Police. Once again, strangers entered the house through a window on the first floor. The perpetrators broke into two petty cash registers and stole cash and a necklace. Monetary and property damages amount to several thousand francs.

Safely ripped from the wall

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, residents of a family home in Triesen reported that they had been broken into and two safes stolen. The perpetrators entered through a window in the basement of the house. Here too, all the rooms were searched, and a cupboard was ripped out of the wall with great force. The perpetrators took the two unopened safes.
