It was clear from the beginning (2020) that Skoda's entry into electric mobility would not be just a flash in the pan. The Czechs had developed a cutting-edge package based on Volkswagen Group technology, in their modular interpretation (just as with combustion engines). Success came quickly, despite the coronavirus pandemic, delivery bottlenecks and global economic turmoil. In the first three quarters of this year, 55,000 births were recorded worldwide – a 47 percent increase compared to the same period in 2022.
Skoda Eniac in the 2024 model year offers more powerful drives, faster charging and greater range! Gregor Weidacher, press spokesman for ŠKODA Austria
Stromer began its career with the model naming abbreviation iV (i for intelligent, innovative, inspiring, V for vehicle). To the SUV version, Skoda later added a coupe version, which was more aerodynamically favorable and therefore had a slightly greater range. Improvements and updates are incorporated continuously.
However, for the new model year, the Czech has improved significantly in all respects, in terms of driving power, efficiency, range, cargo performance and equipment(s). Only the model name has been shortened: Enyaqs will drive into the future without iV.
The higher versions, equipped with an 82 kWh battery (gross; 77 kWh net), are more powerful with new electrical modules and an optimized drivetrain designed for efficiency. The Enyaq 80 (rear-wheel drive) and 80x (two-axle drive) became the Enyaq 85 and 85x, with a maximum power of 286 hp. RS models are sportier, with maximum power now rated at 340 hp (top speed limited to all mentioned: 180 km/h). This applies to both SUVs and coupes. Based on the same battery capacity, the calculated range could be up to 570 km. Recharging can also be faster, with up to 175 kW (only the Enyaq 80 maxes out at 135 kW) on the fast charger (DC, DC). Ideally, this means that energy can be replenished from 10 to 80 percent in less than half an hour.
Technicians from Mladá Boleslav also fine-tuned the car's on-board electronics: including new, more intuitive software, new maps for navigation, and new functions for the keyless entry system (Kessy).
As a nice touch, the Battery Electrician can now also be ordered with Lauren and Clement's pony. These include matrix LED headlights, a chrome-plated and illuminated radiator grille (Crystal Face) and leather furniture.
New: Skoda Eniac (SUV and Coupe)
From € 43,740 – for Enyaq 60 (SUV only) with 179 hp, 62 kWh battery (gross; 58 kWh net), rear-wheel drive and range of up to 412 km (front central airbag, cruise control, dual-zone control climate automation). Furthermore: Enyaq 85 at €53,640 (286 hp). Enyaq RS starts at €64,590 (340 hp). ENIAC Lorraine & Clement 85 starting at €63,940 (286 hp).
