Handed an exciting duel to Sasha Horvath Lask and Rapid Wien at the end of the previous transfer window. In the end, the 25-year-old decided to move to Upper Austria and not return to Vienna, having been active in Vienna Austria for a decade.
Opposite Kronen Zeitung, Horvath explains why he decided to choose LASK: “When I spoke to coach Thalhammer, I immediately had a great feeling. That was the deciding factor – I also know almost the entire team,” explains the Vienna-born.
In the end, the €400,000 exit clause made it possible to move from Horvath to Lask. Horvath said in his introduction, “LASK worked hard for me and met me very highly from the start. I really like the family environment that I was able to feel in the first few conversations.”
Sascha Horvath could already celebrate his LASK debut next Sunday (2:30pm) – against his former club Austria Vienna of all places. “I’m dying for it,” says the 25-year-old.
