On August 1, 2023, 14 young people started their training in the Bilstein group in Ennepetal.

Among them are 2 IT specialists for application development, 1 IT specialist for system integration, 1 specialist warehouse clerk, 6 industrial clerks, 1 mechatronics engineer, 1 tool mechanic and prospective cutting machine operators. In addition, he started his training for one year. “At the Bilstein Group, we have been investing in training for many years. Through continuous growth, we offer exciting perspectives and actively address the shortage of skilled workers,” stresses Managing Director Jan Sickermann.

For the first time this year, the Bilstein Group is offering its trainees workshops that span the entire training period. The workshops cover topics such as business etiquette, team training, learning techniques, and work organization.

New registrations increased again

According to Statistics Austria, new car registrations in Austria have increased again. Most of the growth was due to passenger cars with alternative drive systems.

Lohscheller leaves Nikola

Michael Loescheler, formerly responsible for Opel’s fortunes in Austria, has left US truck maker NIkola, whose joint paths diverge with Iveco in Europe.

For good reason
